oops, she made a podcast
So. .
The last time I wrote to you, I told you about the ~mood of all moods~ I've been in, and how it spurred the idea to start a podcast. I also told you that I started that podcast, that I recorded that podcast, and all I needed to do was upload that podcast.
Well. I uploaded it, and I'll link to it below, but I want to take a second to call myself out on how fucking long it took me to upload this thing. I emailed you 21 whole days ago saying I might upload it that night... and I didn't.
Because. Fear. Fear either pushes you to action or stops you in your tracks. This time, my fear paralyzed me. It told me that people won't listen to it, then it said that even if they did, they probably wouldn't like it. It's too messy. Too unguided. Too chatty. Too... everything.
Truth is, I don't know if you'll listen to it. I don't know if you're a podcast person, or if you have any desire to hear me try to be a podcast person. Even if you do listen, I don't know if you'll like it. But I do know that fear is the only thing that kept me from sharing it with you, and that just felt weird.
SO. I did it. I started a podcast called Stuck. It's going be a journey in getting unstuck in life; I'll talk health, relationships, finances, fear, and all the things that make us feel spooked and frozen. I'll answer questions and interview experts and hopefully, get a little more unstuck every day.
Now that I've braved the fear of uploading this thing, here's how you can help a sister out:
1. If you listen, let me know what you think. Respond to this email and lay it on thick. Love it? Hate it? Tell me. Be nice if you hate it, but still tell me. But be nice. But tell me. Or maybe don't...
2. If you listen and love it, please rate it and leave a review (especially on iTunes). This makes the podcast (and me lol) look legit. This would mean the world.
3. If you listen and really love it, please share it with someone who needs some unsticking, or share on your socials and tag me (@thetarynarnold everywhere). That would really mean the world, too.
Okay. I'll stop and let you listen. Eek.
Listen on iTunes, Spotify, Google Podcasts, Sticher, or Anchor.
Thanks for being on this little journey with me. The internet is fun.
Your friend,
Taryn
