Woah. Hi. What a week year minute decade month etc. etc.

Just wanted to check in and say hi. For all my cuties in America, just please know that I am WITH YOU and nervy and excited and hopeful and dreadful and kinda all of it in one little ball. I’ve eaten toast and a cookie and a protein bar today. I find it really stressful to look at the news and not even know what you’re looking at — like when you’re reading a book and reading the same line 23098 times because for whatever reason, it’s not sinking in.

I really want Biden to win, because I really want America to feel better and I know that Trump is not the answer. I really want to feel hope, and like we care about the earth and animals and fellow humans and all the good and right things. Also, I really wanna get married and trumperton is not wanting that for me/many of you. That’s going backwards. That’s bad.

Anyway, all this to say HI and I love you and I’m with you and no matter what happens, the sun will come up. Unless Trump wins — then the sun will come up so damn warm it burns us to death :’)

Also! This newsletter might look a little different because I moved it over to Substack where it’s freeeeeee instead of mailchimp where I was spending $75/month. Weird. But what’s fun about Substack is you can comment on these emails/posts and see what other people think and, ya know, take part in helping the internet feel a little homier.

TBH - I have no idea if anything up there ^^ just made sense because I’m literally in a 8 person zoom meeting and half here and half there and that’s probably bad so I’m going to go. <3
