i’ll keep this short and sweet.
thank you a million times over for your input on offering a paid edition of the daily taryn. to be honest, i was very nervous to breach the subject and was, quite frankly, blown away by the support.
so. i launched it.
introducing, “little thoughts”
little thoughts is my new, member-only edition of the daily taryn. i’ll send it every week (no questions asked! i’m doing it every week folks!!) — either thursday or friday — and it’ll feature 3 little thoughts that mean something to me and hopefully, just maybe, might mean something to you, too.
if you’d like to subscribe, my god it would mean the world to me. you’d be supporting a real living breathing person who hopes to maybe do more personal writing things with their life, which is cool. you could brag about that. like you’re some sort of art backer or something. not that what i do is “art” but no one has to know that.
if you’re not in a place to financially support or don’t want to, nothing will change for you! you’ll still get the regular “the daily taryn” newsletter (this one!) which I’m hoping to get back to a regular weekly schedule on as well.
here’s the moment
apparently, in order to subscribe to “little thoughts” - you just need to click the button below, enter your email address, and it’ll take you to the checkout. not positive but i tried on Cam’s phone and it felt like magic.
alright, i’ll stop there.
again, thank you. after you subscribe, what you think will have happened is that you just subscribed to a newsletter that some girl makes. which, while that’s true, is not nearly the full truth.
what really happened is that you just signed up for another newsletter, and the person who writes the newsletter just got a notification that you signed up. that you gave her your hard earned money. that you liked her stuff that much. she read your name and said, “woah” out loud to herself — wherever she is in the world. in line for coffee or a beer. half listening in a meeting. watching her first child be born — who knows.
and that girl (it’s me, hi) is so deeply thankful, no words could describe it. which is funny, because some might say she’s a writer.
talk soon.
your friend,
taryn
i am so excited for this
